Effective career development starts with having a career goal. That’s where many of us get stuck because we may be unclear about our career goals or unsure what having a career goal looks like. Without a career goal to guide us, we could be eager to do something for our careers but end up being uncertain and unmotivated in our efforts. The process of forming a career goal takes time as it goes through several iterations of interactions between you and your career situation. It could be related to your hopes of becoming a better worker, finding meaning in your work, securing employment.

Join us as we help you explore what a career goal is, how to start forming the first iteration of your career goal based on your hopes and ideate a plan to strengthen and grow along your career goal. This workshop is useful for those who are facing various forms career challenges such as work fit, work load, job search.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Reflect on current career situation and define career challenge

2. Strengthen sense of personal agency, in relation to career challenge

3. Identify a career goal centre on personal hopes and ideate possible actions towards a career development plan
